Checked October 26, 2026. Prices were read on each vendor's own pages. Podium does not publish a price, and we say so. Prices change: re-check before you buy, especially before Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. Dooza Crew is our product and our top pick for the admin side of a flower shop; we say why, and where the others fit better.
Best AI tools for florists: the short answer
Our top pick for a small flower shop's admin is Dooza Crew: AI employees that answer calls, draft customer and wedding follow-ups and chase the paperwork, $49 a month for the whole organization, and they ask before they send anything. If the phone is your only problem, look at Dialzara (plans from $29 a month, with a page built for florists) or Goodcall. For chat on your website, Tidio's Lyro.
What we could not find on florist AI adoption
We looked for a survey of florists on AI use, for example from the Society of American Florists, and did not find one. What turned up was convention programming and Valentine's Day buying data, not adoption figures, so we are not quoting any. What a vendor says about the calls is plain enough. Dialzara's florist page says: "Flower orders are time-sensitive — especially for events, funerals, and last-minute gifts." That is the vendor's pitch, not a result.
A flower shop's pressure points are the same every year: the phone during a rush, the website enquiry about a wedding, and the evening admin (quotes, delivery details, follow-ups). The tools below cover those.
One practical point: the wire services and florist POS systems (FTD, Teleflora, BloomNation, Floranext) are where orders and payments live, and none of the tools below plug into them. The AI sits beside your POS, not inside it, so anything an AI takes by phone or chat you will have to enter or approve yourself.

1. Dooza Crew (our product, top pick): AI employees for the shop's admin
A small flower shop loses time in the gaps: the phone rings while your hands are full of stems, the wedding enquiry sits in your inbox, the corporate customer who ordered last month never gets a nudge. Crew gives your company AI employees, each with its own computer and browser and its own job. They work around the clock, work with your team in one chat, and pass work to each other. Before one sends an email or clicks Send, Submit or Pay, it asks you to Approve, Edit or Reject.
Example jobs you could give it: you could give one agent the job of answering the phone and taking down the recipient, delivery date and card message for every order call; another the job of drafting a reply to each wedding or event enquiry, for you to approve; another the job of filling a fillable PDF or Word quote or order form you upload with the details a customer sent; another the job of drafting a reminder to regular customers before a holiday, for you to edit. Crew works in web-based tools you log in to with a browser, and you type passwords and 2FA codes yourself.
- Forms: it fills fillable PDF, Word and Excel files you upload. Scanned PDFs without form fields cannot be filled.
- Phones: Crew agents take phone calls too, included in the plan.
- Price: free for 7 days (card required), then $49 a month for the whole organization (unlimited users and agents), AI usage included with a hard spending cap. At the cap it pauses and tells you.
- Watch for: no florist POS or wire service (such as FTD, Teleflora or BloomNation) is certified or integrated with it, so it does not sync with your POS; it works only in web tools you log in to. Orders, refunds and payments stay with you (it asks before Pay/Submit).

2. Dialzara: AI answering with a page built for florists
Dialzara has a florist-specific page, and it is the closest thing here to a flower-shop phone tool. The vendor says: "Dialzara ensures every order call is answered so no arrangement goes to a competitor." Plans include message taking with custom questions and blind transfer.
- Price: "AI receptionist plans from $29/month". Business Lite is $29 a month with up to 60 minutes of talk time and overage of $0.48 a minute; Pro is $99 (220 minutes), Plus $199 (500 minutes) and Elite $349 (1000 minutes).
- Free trial: "7-day free trial"; no contract, cancel anytime.
- Watch for: billing is by talk minutes with overage, and it does not connect to your florist POS.
3. Goodcall: AI phone answering with a free demo agent
Goodcall builds an AI agent for your business line. Its pricing page says "Start free with a demo agent. Add a number when you're ready."
- Price: "Starter $79 a month" (100 unique customers a month, then 79¢ each), Growth $129 and Scale $299 a month. It says "We never meter minutes."
- Free trial: a free demo agent; you pay when you connect a number.
- Watch for: billing is per unique caller, which adds up in a holiday week, and it is not connected to florist software.
4. Smith.ai: call answering with real people, AI-first or hybrid
Smith.ai sells live-staffed call answering around the clock, with AI-first, hybrid and human-first options.
5. Podium: an AI employee for texts and web chat, with no public price
Podium is aimed at local businesses. Its page says: "Meet Jerry, your all-in-one AI employee who sells, schedules, and communicates with customers day and night."
- Price: not published: "talk to our sales team for details".
- Free trial: none stated; there is a demo.
- Watch for: no public price and a sales-led process, which is a lot for a one-shop florist.
6. Tidio: website chat with the Lyro AI Agent
Tidio is live chat for your website, and Lyro is its AI agent, with human handoff and answers drawn from your own information. That suits the questions that fill a florist's inbox: delivery areas, cut-off times, and what is in a bouquet.
- Price: Lyro "Starts at $ 32.50 /mo." for 50 AI conversations; Tidio Starter "$ 24.17 /mo." for 100 billable conversations. The page has a monthly and annual toggle and does not label which it shows, so budget from those figures.
- Free trial: "7-day free trial".
- Watch for: prices are by conversation counts, and the annual versus monthly price is unclear.
Jotform is a form builder that lists order forms and payment integrations, and it now also offers "Jotform AI Agents" for customer support. For a florist it is mainly useful for custom-order, wedding and funeral enquiry forms that collect the same details every time.
- Price: the Starter plan is free; Bronze, Silver and Gold are paid, and we could not confirm their dollar prices from the page text.
- Free trial: the free Starter plan, with storage and submission limits.
- Watch for: paid prices unconfirmed, and it does not sync to a florist POS.
8. Fathom: free AI notes for video calls
Fathom records and summarizes video calls. Its free plan has "Unlimited recordings, instant call summaries, integrations with LLMs & more." Handy for wedding consultations and supplier calls held on video.
- Price: "Free forever." Team shows $19 and $15 per user per month (the page does not label which is annual), with a 2-user minimum, so budget from $15.
- Free trial: paid plans have a free trial and a 90-day guarantee.
- Watch for: video calls only: not for the phone line or the shop counter.
9. Otter.ai: AI meeting notes with a free plan
Otter calls itself "The world's smartest AI Notetaker". It has a free Basic plan.
- Price: Basic is free; Pro shows "$8.33 user/month" and Business $19.99 user/month. The page has a monthly and annual toggle and does not label which it shows, so budget from $8.33.
- Free trial: the free Basic plan.
- Watch for: meeting notes only: it does not take orders.

How to choose an AI tool for your flower shop
- Start with the biggest time sink. Missed calls in a rush, website enquiries, or admin. Pick the one that costs you the most.
- Plan for your peak weeks. Tools billed by minutes, calls or conversations cost more around Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. Dooza Crew is a flat monthly price for the whole organization, with a hard spending cap on AI usage.
- Expect to re-enter orders. None of these tools plug into FTD, Teleflora, BloomNation or a florist POS, so an order taken by an AI still has to be entered and checked by you.
- Keep money with you. Orders, refunds and payments should stay with you. Pick tools that ask before they send or pay.
- Check the details on urgent orders. Same-day and funeral orders need a human check of the recipient, address and time.
- Test on one workflow for a couple of weeks before you route every call through a bot.
