Written November 1, 2026. Product Hunt rules were read on its help and launch pages that day. Platform rules change, so re-check before you launch.
Using AI agents for a product launch: the short answer
An AI agent can do most of the launch legwork: research, lists, first drafts, form filling and monitoring. A human must make the calls that need judgment, relationships or a login only you control.
- Agents are good at: competitor and pricing research, finding launch sites, drafting copy, building press lists, filling forms with your approval.
- You keep: positioning, the pricing decision, real relationships and personal replies.
- Always check: facts, links and every send before it goes out.

2 to 4 weeks before launch
This is where an agent saves the most time. The work is reading, comparing and listing.
| Task | AI agent can do it? | Human's part |
| Competitor and pricing research | Yes. It browses their sites and writes a comparison file. | Spot check the numbers. Decide what they mean for you. |
| Find directories and launch sites, and their listing requirements | Yes. It collects the sites and the rules for each. | Pick the ones that fit your buyer. |
| Final positioning | Partly. It can draft options. | You choose. This is your call. |
| Pricing decision | No. It can lay out the market. | You decide. |
| Build a list of journalists and newsletters to pitch (as a spreadsheet) | Yes. It finds names, outlets and what they cover. | Remove poor fits. Check each contact is current. |

Honest limits
- Agents make mistakes. They can misread a price, a date or a name. Check facts before anything is public.
- Approve every send. A draft is not a message. Read it first.
- Platforms have their own rules. On the Product Hunt launch guide, it says "you cannot ask people directly to upvote your product". On its help page, it says "Company accounts cannot hunt or post products." Tell your agent the rules, and read them yourself.
- Logins and CAPTCHAs stay with you. If a site needs 2FA or a CAPTCHA, a human does that step.

How Dooza Crew handles a launch
Dooza Crew gives you a lead AI agent plus helper agents, a crew for your business. You chat with them on web or phone.
- Own computer and real browser. Each agent has its own computer and a real browser. It works in its own isolated workspace, browses the web and writes files, like your research doc or press list.
- One chat with your team. Your staff and the agents sit in the same chat. Anyone can hand out a job and watch every step live.
- You approve. Before an agent sends or pays for anything, it asks in chat: Approve, Edit or Reject.
Start for $5. Give your crew its first launch job, or book a 30-minute call.
FAQ
Can an AI agent run my whole product launch?
No. An agent can do the legwork: research, lists, drafts, form filling and monitoring. You still decide positioning and pricing, build real relationships and reply to people yourself.
What is the best task to hand to an AI agent first?
Competitor and pricing research, and a list of directories and launch sites with their listing requirements. These take hours by hand and are easy for you to check.
Can an agent post my product on Product Hunt?
It can draft the listing and prepare the details. Product Hunt says company accounts cannot post products and the launch needs a personal account, so you log in and submit it yourself.
Can an AI agent send my launch emails?
It can draft them. With Dooza Crew, an agent asks in chat before it sends anything: Approve, Edit or Reject. Read every email before you approve it.
Can an AI agent check its own facts?
Not reliably. Agents make mistakes, so check prices, names, dates and links before anything goes public.
