Dooza Crew vs Manus: the short answer

Pick Manus if you want a powerful general AI agent for your own deep tasks (research, slides, a website) and you are happy to pay in credits. Pick Dooza Crew if you want AI employees that run the everyday work of a business: answering leads, calling customers, chasing invoices, posting, with your staff in the same chat and nothing sent or paid until a person approves it.

  • Manus runs each task in its own cloud computer and cloud browser. You pay in credits: $20 a month buys 4,000.
  • Dooza Crew gives you a master agent that hires a team of AI employees. Each gets its own computer, a real browser, a phone number and a card for purchases you approve.
  • Price model: Manus bills by credits used. Crew is free for 7 days, then $49 a month with $20 of AI usage included for the whole crew, with $20 of AI usage included.
  • Phone: Crew sets up a business number to call and text customers. We found no phone feature in the Manus docs.

What Manus does well

Manus is a general AI agent. Each task runs in what its docs call "a virtual computer with internet access", with a file system and the ability to install software. Its Cloud Browser visits sites, clicks, fills in forms and pulls data, and you can take over when a site asks for an SMS code, a CAPTCHA or MFA.

It also has scheduled automations, MCP connectors to your tools, a browser extension that uses your own logged-in sessions, and Mail Manus: you forward an email to a bot address and get the result back by email. Only "emails from pre-approved addresses can trigger Manus tasks".

Two things to know before you buy:

Ownership news is worth a glance too: in April 2026 Bloomberg reported that China blocked Meta's $2 billion acquisition of Manus.

What Dooza Crew does

Dooza Crew is built for the everyday work of a small business, not one-off projects. You type the job in plain words, the way you would brief a new hire. Your master agent creates the AI employees the job needs and gives each one its own computer, a real browser, a phone number and a card for purchases you approve.

Then you add your people. Staff and AI employees share one group chat: anyone can hand out a job, see the work and approve it. Nothing is sent or paid until a person you choose approves it.

What businesses hand to a crew:

  • Sales: answer new leads in minutes, call them back, book the meeting, follow up until they reply.
  • Customer service: reply on email, WhatsApp, Telegram and the chat on your website, from your own docs.
  • Operations: order supplies, chase invoices, update the spreadsheet, check every vendor portal.
  • Marketing: write the blog post and the newsletter, post to social, watch what competitors charge.
  • Admin: sort the inbox, keep the calendar, turn call notes into tasks for the right person.

Pricing: credits vs one monthly plan

Manus pricing (October 22, 2026): $20 a month for 4,000 credits, $40 for 8,000 and $200 for 40,000, or $17, $34 and $167 a month billed yearly. Every plan adds 300 refresh credits a day and allows 20 concurrent and 20 scheduled tasks. Manus Team starts at $20 per seat per month, with credits shared across seats. Manus does not publish a fixed credit cost per task, so your bill depends on how big each job is.

Dooza Crew is free for 7 days, then $49 a month for your whole crew, with $20 of AI usage included. Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing. Seats are limited; when they are full you can join the waitlist.

Which one should you pick?

  • Choose Manus if you want an agent for one-off tasks and you like paying by usage.
  • Choose Dooza Crew if you run a business and want AI employees on the phone, in the inbox and on WhatsApp every day, working next to your staff, with a person approving what goes out.
  • Rather have it done for you? Dooza also builds and runs custom AI agents and an AI answering service.
