Dooza Crew vs ChatGPT dots: the short answer

Both give you AI agents with their own computer. Pick a ChatGPT dot if you already pay for ChatGPT Pro or Business Premium and want a personal agent that knows your work and runs your projects. Pick Dooza Crew if you run a small business and want a team of AI employees that call and text your customers, answer them on WhatsApp and your website, pay for things you approve, and work in one chat with your staff.

  • ChatGPT dots (OpenAI, September 29, 2026): "remarkably capable, always-on agents built to handle everything". Your first dot is included in Pro or Business Premium.
  • Dooza Crew: a master agent that hires a team of AI employees, each with its own computer, a real browser, a phone number and a card for purchases you approve. Free for 7 days, then $49 a month for the crew with $20 of AI usage included.
  • The big difference is who the agent works for. A dot is your personal agent. Dooza Crew works for the business: it faces your customers and sits in one chat with your staff.

What ChatGPT dots do well

OpenAI launched dots on September 29, 2026. In its words, dots are "Powered by GPT‑6 Astra, they have their own cloud computer, learn from feedback over time, and can work towards your goals 24/7." Three things stand out:

  • Always on. A dot keeps working between conversations, runs reminders and recurring checks, and does what OpenAI calls "proactive research" with read-only access to the apps you connect.
  • Your apps and your laptop. Dots connect to over 4,000 apps through plugins, and you can give your dot permission to use your own computer. You can open its cloud computer at any time to inspect its work or take over.
  • Rules you set. "Custom Rules let you allow specific actions, require approval, or block them." Auto-review checks risky actions, and sensitive steps such as changing a password always stay with you.

OpenAI's own example fits a small business: an early tester's dot noticed he had forgotten to invoice a publication, prepared the invoice and sent it after his approval.

Who can get ChatGPT dots?

From OpenAI's help center (October 22, 2026):

  • Pro: users aged 18 and older, in markets excluding the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the UK.
  • Business Premium: in supported ChatGPT regions, subject to workspace eligibility.
  • Enterprise, Edu and Healthcare: a beta your workspace admin must turn on; it is off by default.
  • Dots roll out gradually and are not supported on mobile web.

Limits to know at launch: "Your dot cannot initiate calls to you at launch." "At launch, you cannot give your dot its own standalone email address." Texting is a limited beta for US Pro users and is not available in Business or Enterprise workspaces.

What Dooza Crew does

Dooza Crew is built for the daily work of a small business. You type the job in plain words. Your master agent creates the AI employees the job needs and gives each one its own computer, a real browser, a phone number and a card for purchases you approve.

Then you add your people. Staff and AI employees work in one group chat: anyone can hand out a job, see the work and approve it. Nothing is sent or paid until a person you choose approves it. Your crew sets up WhatsApp, Telegram, a web chat on your site, email and a phone number for you.

  • Sales: answer new leads in minutes, call them back, book the meeting, follow up until they reply.
  • Customer service: reply on email, WhatsApp, Telegram and the chat on your website, from your own docs.
  • Operations: order supplies, chase invoices, update the spreadsheet, check every vendor portal.
  • Marketing: write the blog post and the newsletter, post to social, watch what competitors charge.
  • Admin: sort the inbox, keep the calendar, turn call notes into tasks for the right person.

Pricing

Dots have no separate price. "Your first dot is included in your Pro or Business Premium plan at no extra cost." The plan includes an allowance for deeper work, with extended limits for the first month after launch. Conversations with your dot don't count toward your ChatGPT usage limits, but tasks it starts in Codex or ChatGPT Work do.

ChatGPT Pro comes in $100, $200 and $500 a month tiers. Business Premium is $100 per user a month billed annually or $125 billed monthly.

Dooza Crew is free for 7 days, then $49 a month for your whole crew, with $20 of AI usage included. Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing. Seats are limited; when they are full you can join the waitlist.

Which one should you pick?

  • Choose a ChatGPT dot if you already pay for Pro or Business Premium, live outside the EEA, Switzerland and the UK (for Pro), and want a personal agent for your own projects, apps and inbox.
  • Choose Dooza Crew if you want AI employees that answer and call your customers, pay for approved purchases, and work next to your staff in one chat.
  • Want it done for you? Dooza also builds and runs custom AI agents and an AI answering service.
