Genspark alternatives: the short answer
For a hosted all-rounder like Genspark, try Manus. If you already pay $20 a month for ChatGPT or Claude, use ChatGPT Work or Claude Cowork first. For research, try Perplexity. To spend nothing, use OpenClaw, Hermes Agent or Kortix's free plan. For a small business that wants a team of agents working next to its staff, try Dooza Crew.
Why people look for a Genspark alternative
- Free credits: on October 18, 2026 a user on r/AI_Agents wrote that Genspark "removed the free credits and locked up some of the agents". Genspark's help center still listed 100 free credits a day on October 22, 2026, so check your own account.
- Bills that are hard to predict: credits don't roll over, and Genspark publishes no table of credits per task.
- Price jumps: Plus is $24.99 a month, and the next plan, Pro, is $249.99 a month.

The alternatives, one by one
1. Manus: the closest all-in-one match
Manus runs each task on "a virtual computer with internet access" with a cloud browser, and does research, slides and websites end to end.
- Price: $20/mo for 4,000 credits, $40 for 8,000, $200 for 40,000, plus 300 refresh credits a day (Manus pricing, checked October 23, 2026).
- Watch for: Users on r/ManusOfficial reported on October 22, 2026 that chat mode was removed, so simple questions now use credits. See Manus alternatives.
More detail: Genspark vs Manus.
2. ChatGPT Work: best if you already pay for ChatGPT
ChatGPT Work replaced ChatGPT agent (OpenAI help). It handles research, documents, spreadsheets and presentations with its own browser on a computer in the cloud.
- Price: Included in ChatGPT Plus at $20/mo, with limited usage.
- Watch for: Plus usage limits are not spelled out, so heavy users hit walls.
3. Claude Cowork: best for work on your own files
Cowork is Claude's agent mode. It works on files on your Mac or Windows computer and uses your own logged-in Chrome (Anthropic help).
- Price: Free plan for chat; Pro is $20/mo, or $17/mo billed yearly; Max from $100/mo (Claude pricing, checked October 23, 2026).
- Watch for: Local work needs the desktop app open. More detail: Genspark vs Claude Cowork.
4. Perplexity Computer and Comet: best for research
Comet is Perplexity's AI browser (Comet); Perplexity Computer is a cloud agent that turns research into finished work.
- Price: Pro is $17/mo billed yearly; Max is $167/mo billed yearly (Perplexity Pro, checked October 22, 2026).
- Watch for: Computer runs on credits, and the bonus credits are a limited-time promotion.
5. Lindy: best for repeat workflows across your apps
Lindy is an AI employee that connects to 1,500+ apps and can be reached from Slack, iMessage, email or a Chrome extension (Lindy).
- Price: Team $49.99/mo per active user with 5,000 pooled credits; the free plan gives $50 of credits for 7 days (Lindy pricing).
- Watch for: Lindy says everyday asks use 2 to 250 credits and big builds up to 2,500.
Muse is "a personal AI agent" with its own computer and web browser, launched by Meta in September 2026.
- Price: Meta says it is free for most of what people need, with paid plans on top.
- Watch for: US and Canada only, and built for one person, not a team.
7. Kortix: open source with a hosted free plan
Kortix calls itself "the open-source AI Operating System". Agents run on cloud sandbox computers with any model you choose.
- Price: Free plan with 500 credits a month; $200/mo for 20,000 credits (Kortix pricing).
- Watch for: Built for developers.
8. OpenClaw and Hermes Agent: free and self-hosted
OpenClaw answers in WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack and more from your own computer; Hermes Agent is an always-on agent with memory and a scheduler. Both are MIT-licensed.
- Price: Free software. You pay for the AI model and wherever you run it.
- Watch for: Security, updates and model bills are on you. See Hermes Agent vs OpenClaw.
9. Dooza Crew (our product): a team of agents for a small business
You tell Dooza, your master agent, the job in plain words from the web or your phone; it plans it, builds the helper agents it needs (a researcher, a writer, an outreach agent) and reports back. Each agent has its own computer and browser in a private, isolated workspace. Your staff can join the same chat, and you watch every step live in chat. Before it clicks Send or Pay, it asks you: Approve, Edit or Reject in chat.
- Price: Free for 7 days (card required), then $49/mo with $20 of AI usage included. Cancel before day 8 and you pay nothing.
- Watch for: It is built for everyday business work, not one-off slide decks or phone calls; Genspark or Manus fit those better.

Free Genspark alternatives
- For chat and quick research: the free plans of Claude and ChatGPT.
- For an agent with a cloud computer: Kortix's free plan (500 credits a month) or Meta Muse (US and Canada).
- For a free agent you control: OpenClaw or Hermes Agent; budget for the AI model.
How to test a Genspark replacement in one afternoon
- Run the same 3 tasks in each tool: one slide deck or doc, one research question you already know the answer to, and one "find X on these sites and put it in a sheet" job.
- Click the sources. Dead or made-up links are the fastest sign of a weak agent.
- Price it per finished task, not per credit. Note how many credits each task used.
- Look for a spending cap. A looping agent on pay-as-you-go is how surprise bills happen.
